My  creation   process

In this section I will share the stages of my creation process. 

creating   a    universe

Over the past 5 years I have written tales, poems and essays about a wide range of topics. In the process I have come to create some characters and scenaries. Now I have decided to create a longer story in which I will connect those characters and scenaries.

This story will be posted in this website and in on my Instagram account. Every Instagram post will share a brief mini-chapter of the story.

The discovery log is a technique to gather ideas that may come from any source of inspiration, it may be from entertainment, media, hobbies, books and people.

The discovery log is a technique to gather ideas that may come from any source of inspiration, it may be from entertainment, media, hobbies, books and people. 

Step 1: Gather  raw material

In this step I will gather both the materials of my immediate problem and the materials which come from a constant enrichment of my general knowledge. For this step I will gather my raw material using the ideas that I wrote down in my Discovery Log.

Step 2: Think (and write)

Young originally called this stage "working over these materials in your mind." In this stage I will write down every idea that I may be interested in developing.

Sketches & Ideas

Step 3: Relax

In this step I will just chill and forget about it for a while, just like Young said, you are supposed to "make absolutely no effort of a direct nature".

Step 4 & 5: Carve and Polish

Also known as the Eureka moment and Rework, the steps number 4 and 5 are about writing down my idea and working on the details. Just like an sculptor carves and polishes the stone, in this step I do the same with the ideas.
